It was written by Charles Leslie McFarlane, who was a Canadian journalist, novelist, screenwriter, and filmmaker. He is most famous for ghostwriting many of the early books in Hardy Boys series, using the pseudonym Franklin W. Dixon. In 1959 this book was revised by Harriet S. Adams, as a result its plot was significantly rewritten.   The book ranks 55th on Publishers Weekly's All-Time Bestselling Children's Book List for the United States. This book is one of the \"Original 10\", generally considered by historians and critics of children's literature to be the best examples of all the Hardy Boys writing.   A lot of stories about the young detectives of the Hardy brothers were written by the same authors who invented the famous detective Nancy Drew. TV series and computer games were made based on the Hardy Brothers books.   In The Tower Treasure, Frank and Joe Hardy have to investigate several cases at once. Their friend Chet's car was stolen, and the cash register at the ferry station was robbed. Witnesses say a redheaded man was seen at the scene of the crimes. While the Hardy detectives are trying to figure out the circumstances under which the crimes were committed, another event happens that shakes the whole town: the local landmark, an impregnable mansion castle, was robbed! Is the same red-haired stranger involved, or is there a whole gang of criminals running around?","brand":"CharlottesWebTheBookStore","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":49049091408118,"sku":"B","price":5.49,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0768\/8994\/8406\/files\/THETOWERTREASURE.jpg?v=1757201875"},{"product_id":"voyage-with-the-vikings-aio-imagination-station-books","title":"Voyage with the Vikings (AIO Imagination Station Books)","description":"Over 1 million sold in the series!While visiting Mr. Whittaker at Whit’s Soda Shoppe, Beth and Patrick find a mysterious letter in the Imagination Station requesting a Viking sunstone. More than that, she wants to be brave--a seemingly impossible task in a world where ravens throw black shadows over the earth and wolves prowl barren lands in search of their prey. But Geraldine is a mouse. The weakest of ground things. Why was she, who wants so much to be brave, created by God to be small and quivering?The book’s ten stories follow the Woolkins family—Papa, Mama, Geraldine, and Button—from October to December, as they face their rather human trials and tribulations and Geraldine struggles to understand Very Very Big Hands, the creator of all, including ravens and wolves.Suitable for readers of most ages. Parents will want to read the book to younger children, preferably after making them a cup of cocoa.Books in the Geraldine Woolkins Series:Book 1: The Adventures of Geraldine WoolkinsBook 2: More Adventures of Geraldine WoolkinsBook 3: Springtime with Geraldine WoolkinsBook 4: Book of Tales: Volume OneBook 5: Summertime with Geraldine WoolkinsBook 6: Christmas with Geraldine Woolkins","brand":"CharlottesWebTheBookStore","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50189256720630,"sku":"H1-4","price":11.92,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0768\/8994\/8406\/files\/71HmoeoWksL.jpg?v=1774738275"}],"url":"https:\/\/charlotteswebthebookstore.com\/collections\/action-adventure\/categories_literature-fiction.oembed","provider":"CharlottesWebTheBookStore","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
